Saju Day Master

Sin-geum (辛金) Day Master

a well-cut gemstone · Metal · Yin

Your Day Master is the heavenly stem of the day you were born. Of the eight characters in a Saju chart, it is the one that stands for you, so every reading starts here.

The Reading

Fine, sensitive energy. You notice grain that others miss, and your standards are clear. Half-done things don't satisfy you.

Your Nature

You like things clean and your eye is good. But when that standard turns inward, you drive yourself hard.

At Work

You have an eye that catches the smallest flaw. Whether it's a design or a document, it comes out one level cleaner after passing through your hands. That's why you're valued in roles that own quality or do the final check. Your bar is so high, though, that you sometimes hold on to work that should have shipped. Practice letting it go at 80 percent.

In Love and Friendship

Your taste is clear, and you don't date just anyone. With someone you like, you notice small changes, like a new haircut or a shift in tone, and respond to them. But one careless remark from them can hurt for a long time. Bring up what stung the same day, and let it go once it's talked through.

With Money

You'd rather buy one good thing than several cheap ones, and you can tell what will last. But when you feel low, buying something pretty to cheer yourself up can become a habit. Before buying, leave it in the cart for a day and look again tomorrow.

Watch out for

Chewing on small flaws too long. You keep forgetting it's fine to be imperfect.
